We have reviewed and updated our GDPR Policy, Positive Behaviour Policy and Whistleblowing Policy. These can be found in our Policies file which is kept in our reception area. If you would like to have a copy of any policy please speak with Paula
You are very welcome to make any comments about our Policies and make suggestions to improve them. Please speak with Paula if you wish to do this
Please help us to keep all of our nursery children and staff fit and well by keeping poorly children in the best place for them which is at home. If your child becomes unwell whilst at nursery or develops a temperature you will receive a phone call asking you to come and collect them
We are only a very small staff team so if a member of staff becomes ill we may have to close nursery if we are unable to arrange supply cover
We will continue with our read, write Inc program for our children who will be leaving to go to reception class at the end of summer.
Lucy rabbit will continue to visit to help us develop our listening and concentration skills
We will be exploring different materials (wood, fabric, glass, plastic)
We will be starting our gardening activities and hope to extend our gardening activities to attract more wild life and minibeasts

Please feel free to borrow any of nursery books that are in the red box in the reception area. There is a little book for you to note down which book you have borrowed, the date taken and return date
We also like seeing you reading the books with your children in our reception area whilst waiting for your sessions to start. As we all know reading and listening to stories is so important for children’s development
This half term we will be exploring our senses to help us develop our listening and looking skills, to be aware of how different things taste, smell and feel. We will continue to develop our phonic awareness and will be exploring letters m, n, o and p. We will have fun celebrating Chinese New Year
