Learn about our Committee
Why have a Committee?
Coalbrookdale and Ironbridge Nursery has always prided itself on offering the very best care to all of the little ones that come through our doors at the beginnings of their lives. Equally, we like to ensure that this care extends beyond the child to their family, parents and carers outside of the nursery. One of the best ways we have found to stay in touch with our families is to invite you to be a part of the nursery itself. The committee is comprised of parents who want to play an active role, not just in their child’s development, but in the entire make-up of the nursery that helps foster that development.
A Helping Hand
Joining the committee is one of the best ways to become an active member of our nursery’s family. All of our committee members provide a helping hand at the nursery, which is valued by everyone. The committee is elected at our Annual General Meeting, but you can still get involved at any time by speaking to a member of our care team, or your child’s key-worker.
We are always looking for members that want to further the development of the nursery, whether that’s helping out at events, or by leading a fundraising activity. As a charity group, fundraising is a key element to our success, we are always looking for new and inspirational ideas to help us raise funds and promote the nursery in the community.
